GRADUATION PRACTICES
All graduation practices are mandatory for graduating seniors and all FCPS and Walkersville High School rules apply. Doctor appointments, work schedules, vacations, etc. are not considered an excuse for missing practice. any student who has an exceptional reason for requestion permission to miss practice must present a written request to the prinipal from a parent or guardian. Permission to miss a practice will not be automatic.
If a student misses practice without being granted prior written permisson by the principal, he or she will not be allowed to participate in the practice(s) or actual ceremonies. Exceptional emergency situations may only be considered after a meeting is held with the student, parent or guardian and the principal.
