Late Arrival to School

1. The school day begins at 7:30 a.m. It is important to be on time. Please allow sufficient time to clear heavy traffic leading up to the main entrance of the school for a prompt arrival. Any student who arrives at school after the 7:30 bell must report directly to the Attendance Office for an admit slip.
2. Parents may write notes for up to ten (10) days of late to school due to illness per semester. Additional lates will require an official note for excuse.
3. Unexcused lates to school for each term will be treated as follows:
   • 1st Late Warning to student
   • 2nd Late Warning to student
   • 3rd Late 30 minute after-school detention, parent notified
   • 4th Late Additional notification sent to parent
   • 5th Late (and any late thereafter) Office referral
