School Improvement Plan
• Observe and evaluate professional staff • Appoint all professional staff • Monitor entire instructional staff • Administer new academic initiatives • Develop budget and manage school funds • Develop Master Schedule • Attend department meetings • Attend Student Services Teaming (SST) meetings • Chair Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, as needed • Serve as liaison to PTSA • Review for approval: • Teacher leave requests • Extracurricular activity staffing appointments • Supervision of evening activities/programs • Yearbook and student newspaper proofs • Faculty Handbook updates • Coordinate: • Professional Development School (PDS) program • Staff development program • School/Parent/Community relations program • New teacher orientation • School-to-Careers program • Supervise: • Accreditation for Growth (AFG) • Graduation and related senior class activities • Parent volunteer program |
